Auricular acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture is an acupuncture method in which small patches containing a seed from the Vaccaria plant are placed at selected points in the outer ear.
There are various “microsystems” in our body, and the ear area is one of them. That is, the entire body and its systems (digestive, reproductive, respiratory, etc.) are reflected in the ear map, while the various pressure points correspond to organs and systems.
Upon leaving the session, the patient performs a light massage 2-3 times a day on these seeds, thus stimulating the auricular acupuncture points and through them affecting corresponding parts of the body.
There are times when very fine small needles can be painlessly placed during a session, if this is considered helpful.
Auricular Acupuncture can help with many issues, such as anxiety, insomnia, pain, headaches, smoking cessation, difficulty losing weight, addictions, digestive disorders, allergies.
