Bio
I was born in April 1973 in Chania, Greece. My first degree is a Bachelor’s in Management from Southeastern College. For several years, I worked in this field within the private sector.
From a relatively young age, I developed an interest in Eastern philosophies and the connection between emotions, mind, and body. Facing my own health issues, I sought to understand their underlying causes. At the age of 18, I came into contact with complementary therapies, experiencing exceptional results. Since then, they have become an integral part of my life.
In 2007, after learning the therapeutic techniques of Reconnective Healing and Reconnection, being initiated into Usui Reiki, and completing self-awareness courses, I realized that my deepest desire was to fully dedicate myself to the healing arts and to providing care for relief and healing.
In 2008, I began my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Moxa Therapy, and Tuina, completing a three-year training program at the Academy of Ancient Greek and Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2010, I attended related courses in Tianjin, China, which included clinical practical training at a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital. In 2011, I completed an internship at Vitality, a holistic medicine and alternative therapies center.
I received training in Tuina massage, Swedish massage, Lymphatic drainage massage, and Cupping.
Building upon my foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I also studied other acupuncture systems, including:
-
Si Yuan Balance Method of Dr. Tan
-
Yamamoto Scalp Acupuncture (Y.N.S.A)
-
Master Tung
-
Meridian Palpation Diagnosis
-
Acupuncture
-
Electro-Acupuncture
-
Aesthetic Acupuncture
From 2018 to 2021, I worked as the Head Therapist at “Euphoria Retreat – Holistic Wellbeing Destination Spa,” where I treated and helped dozens of people from all over the world. During this journey, I had the opportunity to train with the esteemed teachers Stefano Batagglia and Patrizia Bortolin.
Since 2019, I have been teaching Tuina massage, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, at the Academy of Ancient Greek and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Throughout this journey, and in pursuit of a deeper understanding of human existence for the improvement of physical and emotional health, I have trained and continue to train in:
-
“Theta Healing” – Theta Inner Place, Maria Telidou
-
“Body Mirror System” – The Brofman Foundation
-
“Mindfulness” and “Compassion Practitioner” – Harmony and Creativity
-
“Energy Healing of the Spine” – Stefan Rippel
I continue this wonderful journey by attending courses, seminars, and practicing Qi Gong, as I believe that the very process of finding and maintaining balance in our lives is, simultaneously, our healing.
